The School of Arts and Creative Technology at the University of York is pleased to announce an exciting new immersive performance project in collaboration with XR Stories to research new technologies and tools for live immersive music performance. Space Synth is a six month project led by Ben Eyes with composer Elizabeth Bernholtz (aka Gazelle Twin), PhD researcher Kola Ganikale and visual artist Dan Conway. The project will create open source tools for live immersive performance and visual production based around motion capture, machine learning and spatial audio.
